Wireless Web Coverage

Before you purchase any wireless Web device, check into the service plans just as you would with a cellular phone purchase. Pay particular attention to the coverage maps. Just as with digital cellular phones, wireless Web access may be spotty. But, unlike most cellular phones, many wireless Web devices can't switch to another mode (like cell phones with dual digital/analog modes can) if service isn't available. At the very least, make sure the plan covers you for where you work and where you live--and your commuting route.
