It does not matter at all whether files have been re-named, hidden, given attributes or system-protected. Dupehunter operates with calculations of 32 bit checksums, but also MD5 hashes and SHA1 hashes and is able to identify duplicate documents, pictures, programs etc. At present, Dupehunter is bilingual, i.e. interface and (!) on-line help are available both in German and English. The Dupehunter package is complemented by an excluded files list and the option of specific selection of single files in the result tree. You will have the use of implemented printing and export functions. An internal quick view enables you to view over 100 file types. That includes 36 graphic formats. Wiping of files, secure encryption according to 128 bit AES Rijndael and a high speed data compression are also included. Last but not least: Dupehunter Professional is offered as Shareware. In the Home Edition maximum 10.000 files will be calculated, network access and wiping of files is not available.

The Business Edition supports unlimited files but only a maximum of 5 mapped network drives. The high secure SHA1 algorithm is not available and some extended XML export functions like compression, priority tags and creation of EXE reports under XML are not available.

The Corporate Edition is unlimited!
