winsrv Error after Failed SP2 install...
I have a blue screen after power loss while installing SP2
I see the blue bar on start up however I don't think it was through
installing sp2.
I looked up error message. Here is result.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885523
The only problem is, I am not too sure how to fix from here.
One thing is I do not think there is any kind of TV software on the comp.
Can someone please help?

Download the 885523 package :
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?amp;displaylang=en.&fa...yid=658

Install this update, then install SP2.

How do I install?
write to a bootable cd or through a command line? (if so what is it?)
I cannot get into system except through an installdisk repair. I can get
command prompt there, that is about it.

Well I figured out myself
http://support.microsoft.com/KB/875350
The command line was slightly different but led me in right direction.
I did not add spuninst at end of command line and had to cd to each step,
but by looking at dir I could figure out and got SP2 to uninstall through
command prompt in Recovery Console.
Hope this helps anyone out in future.
