Vista-when the computer is inactive for ten minutes it requres that I logon
again when I want to resume use of the computer. I right clicked on the
desktop, chose Personalize, Chose Screen Saver and removed the check mark
next to On Resume, Display Logon Screen option. However I am still required
to logon. Any help?

Hi,

Go to the Control Panel/Power Options, click the line to change the plan
settings. Then click the line to "change advanced power settings". In this
section, under Additional Settings, you will find an option to disable the
password requirement.
