A lot of virus... that computer needs to be formatted. In any case, does it restart in safe mode?

Try booting the computer into Safe Mode.

If it starts up okay in Safe Mode then
1. Use Control Panel - System - Advanced and click on the Settings
button in the Startup and Recovery (bottom) section. In the Startup
and Recovery window click on the checkbox for "Automatically restart"
to clear it.

2. Reboot into "Safe Mode with Networking" then go to
http://housecall.trendmicro.com and do a free online scan to finish
the cleanup of the computer.

You and your boss need to learn that you cannot use a computer
connected to the Internet unless it has antivirus, antispyware, and
firewall protection in place.

p.s. To start Windows XP in Safe Mode turn on the computer and start
tapping the F8 key just as soon as the first information of any kind
shows on the screen. Keep tapping rapidly until the Windows XP
Startup menu appears and choose "Safe Mode" (or "Safe Mode with
Networking") from the menu.

Good luck
