my local disk size is only 2.3gb but i would like to
increase it by 20% to about 3.0 gb can any one help me to
resolve this oroblem

Is this a single drive that is partitioned? What is currently on the 2.3 GB
partition?

Basic answer: The disk tools in Windows can resize partitions but only by
deleting and then recreating them. See "diskpart" in Help and Support. If
Windows is on one of the partitions involved, some extra planning will be
needed to reinstall the operating system.

There are third party tools that can resize partitions without destroying
the data. Still a good idea to make a backup "just in case."
