Try this.

Right click the Desktop and click Properties.
Click the Screen Saver tab and click the Settings button.
Check the box Show file names.

Show file names shows the file names of the pictures when they appear on the
screen.

This will also show the path and the file name. You can disable the option
later if you want.

Smile It never hurts to look around at various settings.

The question mark [?] is your friend.
On the title bar of most dialog boxes in the upper right corner is a [?]
button. As there are in many other Windows items.

[[Help is available for each item in this group. Click ? at the top of the
dialog box, and then click the item you want information about.]]
Left click [?] and your cursor turns into a ?, click the item you want to
know about. This will display a help topic if there is one.

You can also right-click the item and then click the What's This? command.

You can also right click on the displayed help topic and select copy.

Shows the file names of the pictures when they appear on the
screen. was copied from the Show file names help item. Wink

Greetings:

One of the configuration choices for the My Pictures screen saver is to
include the file name with each picture. That ought to help you.

P.S. Time to organize your pictures!
