Is there a way to save a file in note pad with out it putting a file extetion on it.

The programs that I make can not have extentions on them. So I am wandering if there is a way when I go save as to have the files save with no ext on it such as (1899a1) would be the name of the file that I would be saveing.

Ryan,

Put the file name in double quotes in the 'save as' dialog box. Eg put "1899a1" in the space
provided for the file name.
