Post subject: safeboot
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>configuration_manage (more info?)

Can someone help me, i wanted to make a safe antivirus scan and for this
reason i disabled the lan, disabled the system configuration utility, and ran
msconfig to enable safeboot minimal. Unfortunately starting up the pc (xp pro
sp1) it ask me the password and even the password in the lan is correct it
does not work, even trying with administrator password. So i tried with f8 to
restart the pc but in any occasion it did not solve my password.
