root certificate import

Hi,

I am trying to import a ca root certificate. First i used IE
->options->content->certificate->trusted root certificate, then import. It
shows import successful but certificate is not showing in any of the store.
So I tried with mmc and imported, now certificate shows in trusted root
certificate in mmc, but not in IE. Anyway my purpose is to use the root
certificate for outlook rpc configuration, but outlook doesnt connectfrom
outside my network. Anyhelp?
