Post subject: roaming profile
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>configuration_manage (more info?)

I moved the data file where the profiles are kept and the name also changed.
I have one client that is a problem (running XP sp2). It does locate the
roaming profile, but can't copy it back to the server. "Access denied" All
the other clients work since the update.

I created a new user name on client and copied the profile data to it from
server.

The client sayis it is roaming. The link on the user profile tab has been
checked for right location and spaces, ect.

Is there something in the registry that needs changed. The permissions
appear to be the same as the other clients.

any ideas for me

thanks

jj
