Frank,

Re-install System Restore

Have your installation CD handy (if you installed Windows from a CD),
or know if the installation files are on your hard drive in an i386
folder.

Go to Start => Run and type in (or better copy/paste):

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 C:\WINDOWS
\inf\sr.inf

Spaces: after exe; before and after DefaultInstall; before and after
132

Hi Clay
Thanks for your response. I have recovered system restore file but unable to
do same with defrag. I tried your instruction without success (I'm sure I was
doing something wrong). I do have the recovery disks, which I finally found.
My problem is attempting to get thesystem tool file back. Appreciate any help.
Thanks again.
