Being a novice myself if someone could help me change it.

i want to reset my computer to factory setting... and people have told me
that while windows is starting up i can press a key on my keyboard to get
this to happen.. well can some one please tell me which button that is..??

While there MAY be some key combination/method to restore your computer to
the state it was in when you bought it originally - there may not. Read
your manual/contact the manufacturer.
