I recieve all of my emails without a problem, but for some reason I cannot
send them. When I try to do so, an error shows in the send/recieve box that
says:
The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account:
'pop-server.rochester.rr.com', Server: 'smtp-server.rochester.rr.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number:
0x800CCC0E
Is there anything I can do about this? |

Are you connected to Roadrunner (at home) when you get this error?
To use RR servers, you must be.

No, I'm away at college, so I'm connected to the college server through my
ethernet cable. I also use the wireless network here.

So you can't use Roadrunner's servers to send email.
You need to use either your college's server, or perhaps get a Gmail
account, and use their server.
