Hello guys,

I have an issue with powercfg.cpl - all the other work ok but this one
does not and when clicked from the system32 directory displays:
An exception occured while trying to run "shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\powercfg.cpl","

Any ideas?

If powercfg.cpl doesn't start from the Start | Run command line either, you
could try a system file scan.

Go to Start | Run and type in 'sfc /scannow' (without the quotes). You will
be asked for your XP CD.
