Cannot open Summary/Log file message

This all started 2 days ago,with not being able to establish comms with my
Linksys router. As a check I ran CHKDSC and now whenever I boot up, I get a
splash screen with the message "unable to open Summary/Log file". This screen
then goes off and the machine boots up as normal.

I can find no information on this anywhere
any help would be much appreciated

Have you used Diskeeper Pro on the computer?
