can anyone help

i am making files available offline, using control
panel>tools>folder options>offline files.

I when I raiuse the slider to increase the space; going
above 2gb and then apply the slider defaults to the last
accepted figure below 2gb.

Hi,

What file system are you using ? (FAT, FAT32 or NTFS).
If you are using FAT this could be the reason.
