Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>basics (more info?)

i have xp sp2 and for the last month or so when i go online the microft
application error reporting program has been sticking to my taskbar and i
cannot close it. i have zone alarm firewall. in 'my computer-
properties-advanced-error reporting- ' i have set the error reporting to NOT
report. yet everytime i go online, the error reporting program tries to
access the internet through my firewall which i have set to deny it. the real
problem is i switch users often so everytime a new user is signed on, another
error report taskbar window is stuck in place and cannot be closed. they
close when i go offline. any help would be appreciated. thanks. lb
