Compressed files - Hi, i have windows xp home. When i open a zip file, all the files contained are in random order and it is simply annoying. How do i make sure that all zip files when opened are in order of name?

Post subject: How to make the ZIP files open with the default Compressed (Zipped) File

Recently I've associated the ZIP files with WinRAR. Now I want it to
open with the default Compressed (Zipped) File (and make the icon
change).

To do this I just need to go to -Open With -> Make this program the
default-. The problem's that I can't find the location of the default
Compressed (Zipped) File (a program). Can anyone give me its path
(location)?

This will show you how to set the built-in ZIP feature of Vista back as
the default one.

Hi,

The "Compressed (Zipped) file" entry will not be listed there, as it's powered by a .dll (instead of .exe). You may download and apply the .zip file association fix from the following page to solve the problem:
