I made my main partition for my windows drive a tad small and now I constantly
get a pop-up that says my disk space is low.

I have gone in and out of my C: to find programs I can erase and I still get
these
messages.

Is there any possible way to increase the size of a partition or am I stuck
formating the drive and losing several months of information?

PartitionMagic will increase the partition size for you.

Hi

You can use a 3rd party program such as Acronis Disk Director Suite:

you can use Partition Magic

otherwise *uninstall* all applications
then reinstall on some other drive.

also move (through the control panel) your page file to another drive

To add a little to what others have said...
You need a minimum of about 5 GB just for Windows XP to allow for updates,
Service Packs etc. 10 GB is a better minimum.
That is just for Windows XP, add accordingly if you are installing anything
or saving any data to C drive.
