Have you tried "both" shift keys? ... one might be stuck ... also
before you have any other future keyboard problems, if you can get into win
explorer C:\Windows\System32 folder, look for
osk.exe .. make a shortcut to desktop, click it and get the "onscreen
keyboard" it will be a lifesaver during a "keyboard moment"
