Post subject: install zip files
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>installation_setup (more info?)

Hi i must be doing something wrong,when trying to install screensaver zip
files.i saved it to desktop and when i double click it asks to allow and i
allow.
but i get a message files not found.is it better to run and not save it to
install.

Hi,

Right click the .zip file, use 'extract all'. At the end, enable the line to
open the contents folder.

I'm hoping that this isn't some random file you received in email claiming
to be screensaves when in fact it could be a virus.

re-install - I have installed winXP on my PC . At boot up I get a prompt of whether to start windows XP home or windows... with 25 sec countsdwn I dont want this screen to appear, what do i do to get rid of it this and let it boot up without this screen?

Updates Won't Install - Windows updates get downloaded, but they won't install. MS sent me a fix, but it didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?
