When I try to access my WinXP64 machine though Remote Adminitrator, I receive
a message it can't connect. This generally happens when a firewall is
blocking me. I went to the security setting in the 64bit machine and the
firewall showed ON. I then went to the firewall settings, clicked the OFF
button and OK. To my surprise, the indicator in the Security Center window
was still ON! One location says my firewall is ON the other says it is OFF.
Rebooted the machine, checked both locations, still one says firewall is on
the other says it is off. Never seen this before- any suggestions?

If this is still a problem you should repost this message or get help
directly from Microsoft.
