How can I find/'explore' shared resouces over a VPN?
I have a working VPN between my (home) XP Pro client, and an XP pro PC on my
office LAN. The VPN is established using an IP address. 81.149.xx.xx.

After I successfully login to the remote computer...
I open Windows explored an use the ip address ( eg \\81.149.xx.xx), ... and
i expect it to list the shared resouces, but it says 'cannot display the web
page'.

Is this the expected behaviour? (I'm sure it has some shared resources .. I
just can't remember the exact names).

Is there another way to list/find the shared resources?

Thanks ... Barry

Have I posted this to a working/right forum? ... Is anyone out there?

I've now checked the Server - and it does have a shared folder (called
SharedDocs), but (after establishing the vpn successfully) the client still
can't see it.

Can someone give me a clue as to what may be wrong
