error during capture

Ok, this is my 2nd post, but not any help, I hope someone out there
can help me now. My video cam starts but it stops for 10 secs. When I
start video capture it says 'error during capture error code
00000000.", and "Error during capture ( device lost). Select new
capture device". My computer's power supply had a problem so it needed
to be change, after that, my web cam won't start. Under imaging
devices in device manager, I don't see a yellow exclamation point, and
device status says that it is working properly, but when I try to
update the driver it says ' the wizard couldn't find a better match
for the hardware than the software you currently have installed'. I
tried to add another web cam, but still have the same problem. HELP ME.

Is it a digital camcorder and are you capturing via firewire? Are you
capturing using Windows Movie Maker or some other third party software? Is
the camcorder powered by A/C or by its internal battery?
