Folder Options on Windows->Explorer:

I accidentally deleted DOC with the File type "Microsoft Office Word",
yet when I re-added it, why could I no longer find this filetype
amongst the options listed ? When I used filetype "Microsoft Word
Document" instead I no longer had the option of being able to set the
"Browse in Same Window" option ?

How do I re-enable this ?

Delete the .DOC file type again, and then repair Word using the Word/Office CD-ROM. This should fix the file type associations automatically.
