Go to Control Panel, Power Options, then select the
appropriate tab for standby... if you have this tab. If
you dont, you might you system BIOS after you first start
your computer. Look around a little bit, I'm sure it's in

Is my display in power saving mode? - After a certain period of inactivity my system puts my display into power saving mode. Is there any way for a program running on my system to know that this has happened? Presumably Windows knows, since it put the display in power saving mode in the....
Once restarted from standby - PC freezes - I have put my Power options to enable my PC to go into standby. When it comes out of standby, the mouse doesn't move and I can't get a keybiard response. I have to press the reset button to get the PC working. Ideas anyone?
