how can i repair drag and drop so that i can drag and drop files between
windows explorer folders ?

I'd probably do a Repair Install - all that does is copy new XP
files to hour hd; no damage t6o any data.

oh, great, and this update came out after SP2, didn't ? Was it
installed as a result of automatic updates ?

How do you clear the drop down userID ? - I may not be asking this right but here goes.. for win xp.. Let's say you are going to log in and you type the letter " D " for example and any name that you use in the pass shows up in a drop down below, then you can pick a previous typed...
