display property problem

Hi Bruce,

Have the same card here, without issues. As for the Tabs being missing,
this is always due to a third party Desktop Manager (especially Desktop
Architect). Start your troubleshooting from there.

Geforce 2 MX 400 video card and that is giving me lots of problems. It has

can get the card to work is by uninstalling the adapter and then letting

fact that it is fine in safe mode tells me something is being loaded that
changes the file when you right click on the desktop; Or maybe it just
pulls up the display tab from the file. The file is called desk.cpl and
when you run it in regular mode-you get the same problem I am having with no
tabs-when you run the file in safe mod-the tabs are all there. How can I
start windows and see everything that is loaded? Or is there another way to
deal with this?

In Control Panel, do you have "NVIDEA nView Desktop Manager" ?

Yes-thats what I want to delete

Just open it, and click [Disable nView]

It won't open-thats one of the problems. I need to find where it is located and delete it but I can't find it anywhere
