I have WinXP clients on a LAN connecting to a Win2000
server running Terminal Services. Some of the remote
clients have installed both local printers and network
printers on their local LAN (which is a different LAN from
the server). I want the client local printers to redirect
to the server but not the clients network printer. How do
I disable redirection of the client network printers only?

Hi Lance,

Sorry, there has no way to filter the network printer here.

If we select to redirect the local printers, all the printers installed on
the local will be redirected no matter the printer is the local printer or
the network printer.

The behavior is by design.

Thanks for using Microsoft News Group!
