Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>mail (more info?)

in windows mail I clicked on TOOLS then Account and then
DELETED THE MICROSOFT COMMUNITIES(default)
(kick my but)
Now some of my mail wont go to people who are on HOTMAIL!

HOW DO I GET IT BACK?

Getting it back won't solve the Hotmail problem... there's no connection.

To add Microsoft Communities back, go to Tools - Accounts - Add - Newsgroup
account
enter your name & email address
enter the server name msnews.microsoft.com
etc,

How do you know that some of your mail won't go to Hotmail
recipients? What are the symptoms? Any error message?

I accidentally deleted the lanmanworkstation registry key .. - I know that I should have had a registry backup/restore point, etc. Trust me, I've learned my lesson. I deleted services.exe - I came to understand that services.exe came in two flavours: vital system process, and spyware that disguised itself as such. Needless to say, when I used Killbox to delete the file that I THOUGHT was spyware, I ended deleting something my computer..
