There is a a way to networtk them together and enable file sharing, but Im
not sure I would be able to explain it without giving you more problems Sad
Perhaps you could post this in the networking section of the forums for some
more advanced advice Smile
How Big is the big file? If you have a USB port on both PCs you can get a 1
or 2 GB SanDisk and transfer the file that way, or maybe you can burn a DVD
with the info and transfer it that way. Good luck.

If they BOTH are on the same router, then you can set up a home network so
that each PC can share whatever folders you allow.

Also, how big is this 'large file?" I ask because another suggestion might
be to email the file using Hotmail or Yahoo mail. They both allow
attachments up to 10 MB I believe.

2.7G is the file

I tried to connect with file sharing and found nothing. I used wireless.

You need to actually explicitly share the folders in question - at least the
target folder, and I have found that some systems need to have IPX/SPX
loaded on the network adapter for XP to be able to display them. If you
browse by computer name, however, you may have better luck.
