Hi, I have been in safe mode several times. SOmetimes, when i have entered
safe mode and as soon as the screen comes up to click on a user account, I
have noticed that the screen & all the colors look wierd. It reminds me of
an outdated pc. old fashioned colors where there are all these tiny squares
producing the picture. even after I click a user, nothing changes. It doesnt
happen all the time. but, I dont always get into safe mode. just when trying
to fix an issue, or if I want to do periodic scans to ensure my pc is safe.
Any ideas how to fix this. Or why it happens. Even if I restart in safe
mode, it doesnt get fixed. TIA

Safe Mode only loads the drivers necessary to display a window and run the
operating system. Video is cut to the absolute minimum.

That's just the way safe mode is. It loads basic minimal drivers - just
enough so that you can trouble shoot a problem. It does NOT load your
installed video driver.

Thanks guys for your replies. I understand that not everything loads up in
SM. However, I have entered safe mode several times. and several times, I
would get the safe mode norm colors. BUT, lately, its worse ,as I stated in
my post. The colors and squares were so different from other times that I
entered in SM. I thought that maybe i needed to do adjustments in my colors
or something. But, if all is normal, then I appologize for my extra reply.
good day!

You got too small a screen resolution in SM; increase it (Display
Properties/Settings) while in SM.
