I used a corporate version while waiting for real version to upgrade and
assumed I could easily change the PID....not so easy for corporate I am
finding. Anyone know of a work around now that my real licenses are finally
in?

Greetings --
Actually, there is no such thing as WinXP "Corporate Edition."
That is a term applied exclusively to pirated (iow, stolen) copies of
the Volume Licensed WinXP Pro by the "warez" aficionados.
You need to purchase and use a _legitimate_ full retail copy of
WinXP Pro to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade) installation,
using the new CD and Product Key.

thanks, that's what I thought but the "legally" comment is a bit rude. I
wasn't trying to avoid buying the s/w, client just couldn't wait the extra 2
weeks due to my vendor being out of stock. All of my clients are license
legal and I know that PID changes are cool, just didn't know the corp one
wasn't and the one I used is a REAL corp one, not one off the web.

Greetings --
Product Keys are bound to the specific type and language of
CD/license (OEM, Volume, retail, full, or Upgrade) with which they are
purchased. For example, a WinXP Home OEM Product Key won't work for
any retail version of WinXP Home, or for any version of WinXP Pro, and
vice versa. An upgrade's Product Key cannot be used with a full
version CD, and vice versa. An OEM Product Key will not work to
install a retail product. An Italian Product Key will not work with
an English CD. Product Keys and CDs cannot be mixed & matched.
