I tried to put a cd into my cd drive and its not playing it. It doesn't open
the folder when i click on the disk drive in my computer. In Windows media
player it says "please insert disk" I checked device manager and it says that
my cd/dvd drive is working properly.
Any one know how to fix this problem?

Depending on the age of the optical drive, you could use a standard CD
cleaning kit or just replace the drive. The lasers are either dirty or
dead. Of course, if it's still under guarantee, get it replaced by the
manufacturer.
