Post subject: getting application to start up on second monitor
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>general (more info?)

Hello,

I am running windows vista home premium.
I have turned the monitor from my old PC
into a second monitor. However now I would
like some applications (which display multiple
windows when I start them up) to start on my
second monitor when they appear as opposed
to on my primary monitor attached to my laptop.
Is there a way to get an application to start on
the second monitor instead?

Thanks,

John Goche

Hello John,

Usually moving the program window(s) to the other monitor, then closing
it will allow it to open to that same monitor, if it is connected, the
next time you open the program.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
