Post subject: XP Logon Lockup
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>basics (more info?)

One of the user logons on my computer causes the computer to lock up just
after the icon is clicked (the "Loading your personal settings" message
doesn't appear).

The main logon (mine) works ok, and the computer otherwise seems to be
working ok.

Can anyone point me towards a checklist of thigs to do to diagnose this
please.

Thanks.
