Q:
I am running a laptop with a docking station and Win XP Pro
The laptop has both the Wired and Wireless NIC built in.
Users sometime they want to undock and use the wireless or dock and use the
wired nic
Is there a way ( besides to create local profiles) to autodetect the stte of
the laptop at any given point and based upon the status to enable or disable
the un-needed nic?
I need to have this done without user intervension
Thank you

See if this is something you can do:

Err... Additionally you'd want to have the wired one listed first and the
alternative would be wireless. That way when they disconnect wired it will
go wireless instead of staying wireless when they start wired. I'm not sure
how it would work when they go wireless to wired though?
