Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>customize (more info?)

For some reasons, after I customize my windows like: Startup Program,
Background, Screen Saver, even types of "Sorting" in each folder; when the
computer restarts everything reset to what it was before
Internet Explorer becomes the most annoying so far. I changed the homepage
but it resets to MSN after i CLOSED the window and reopen it again. And all
the settings in IE reset after I reopen it for example: I choose "Do not show
the information bar again" but when I close and reopen IE, it's back!
If anyone has any suggestions please help, i would be very appreciated.
Thanks
