When I hit the back button on the browser, it continually
says "page expired" and I have to hit the refresh button
which brings up a box to agree....How do I turn this
off??? If I hit the back I want it to refresh
automatically.

Some pages cannot be refreshed this way, because they use cookies to track your session. This is particularly true of password protected sites. Can you give specific examples?

so, on the web sites, they are password, but not where i
am at, i don't mind so much hitting the refresh button as
much as i don't like haveing to hit the retry button that
says it is going to resend information, i don't
particularly care about that, i just want to be able to
move in and out easily

the web site is www.cpol.army.mil, i am searching federal
jobs and when you select one and try and go back is when
it does it

is there anyway to set my internet explorer to auto
refresh when i hit the refresh button with out the box
coming up to retry???

Not that I'm aware of. Its not always that the site is passworded, its that they use form data that can't be recalled or similar types of information that aren't stored from page to page.
