Post subject: Windows cannot load profile when logging on.

I am using Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. When I log onto Windows, my
profile cannot be loaded. Windows does load a default profile, but none of
my settings are applied, I can't get to locally my locally stored e-mail,
etc... Also, Internet Explorer 7 does not work (Firefox 2 does work). I
would appreciate any suggestions on how to repair my profile and also IE7.

We don't know why your profile isn't loaded, it could be corrupt or it
could be as simple as a permissions issue on the profile folder. If the
profile is corrupt create a new profile and copy you user data to the
new profile. Some reading and advice here:
