Just recently this started happening to me. I join my
companies domain, but after a couple of hours I get
knocked off the domain. The only way to rejoin the
network is to log onto a workgroup and then back on the
domain.

Is there some sort of solution to this problem, or do I
have to reinstall the operating system?

Thanks in advance to all who answer.

Saachi

Remove the computers from AD first, then rejoin Domain.
Also, try ipconfig /registerdns to make sure they are
populating the DNS server. If I can think of any other
reason this may be happening, I will let you know.

Does this microsoft article by any chance apply to your
situation? I sort of ran across it, and thought it might
have something to with your post:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?
scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q
285/1/82.asp&NoWebContent=1

It's article 285182 if that link doesn't work.

Also, someone referred me to a great search engine that
works better than microsoft's but basically searches the
same stuff: http://freeanswers.com. Check that out, too.
