Windows XP SP2
Microsoft Office 2002
Internet Explorer 7.0
Web pages open full screen when opened directly from IE7. However, the same
web page opens as a normal sized window, i.e. not full screen, when opened as
a
hyperlink from Excel. I have dragged the corners of the window to fill the
screen and then exited the web page. But, the page size is back to the
original window size the next time I reference a web page from an Excel
hyperlink. How can I get web pages to open full screen when opened from a
hyperlink in Excel, too? Thanks. |

Open such an IE window > Close all other IE windows > Resize the remaining
window > Close it.
The resized (not maximized) window MUST be the last window closed for its
size to be remembered.

Thanks, but I've tried that numerous times and it hasn't worked. Pages are
full screen (not maximized) when I open IE7 or when I open a web page using a
desktop shortcut. It's only when I open a web page from an Excel hyperlink
that the new web page is back to the original window size.
Has anybody seen this behavior before and know a solution? Thanks.

I finally got it to work. Open IE7, adjust screen size as desired. and close
the page.
