I have been having trouble with the Installer CleanUp Utility. Any time I try
to remove and item with it, it removes it, but crashes with a both a system
and runtime error that it says is unknown. I have removed and reinstalled it
several times, but nothing seems to fix it.
Help!!

Skimark,
Using that utility means that any entry deleted has to be re-installed
All the tool does is remove the associated registry entry, which if you search
the Microsoft site you will find the correct subkey to delete.
Do I have this right? It says Unknown runtime error with no indication of the
file, module or if its a C++ file..

The Cleanup tool completely crashes and has to be restarted to work again. It
finishes with this error message: Run-time error 1-2147024882 (8007000e)':
System Error &H80004005 (-2147467259). Unspecified Error. After showing this
box the tool shuts down and has to be relaunched to be run again.

Andrew
You are a complete Moron. Go away and stay away. That utility works just great on any OS and any Office version. The OP has another issue that is affecting his system and this utility. It is not the Installer Clean Up Utility that is at fault.
