Post subject: Windows Desktop Search Irritating Msg

Hello
since I have installed windows desktop search 4, I get irritation msg asking
me to compact my outlook express. and its never goes away.
I get this at
- the time of logon
- when I start outlook express
- and when I close outlook express

I dont want my outlook express email to get indexed and want to turn off
this msg.

please suggest. thanks.

Uninstall Windows (Desktop) Search or...

CONTROL PANEL | INDEXING OPTIONS | MODIFY | Clear the check box for Outlook
Express files (i.e., EML, NWS, & DBX files)

Even if you compact your messages?

That is a normal Outlook Express message every 100 opens or so - and it will
continue to ask until you do it - because Outlook Express dbs are very
inefficient and corrupt easily - it is recommended you do it.

I also recommend uninstalling Windows Search 4...
