Is there any known way i can get windows to block a third-party application
from taken control over the color manegment, like the gamma, brightness,
contrast ?

There are 3 files that load as part on the Nvidea package...by stopping one from loading you stop the customization that you have created and get back to "normal" . Just don't ask me which one at the present time..............I used SpyBot Search and Destroy to see which startup does what and then stopped that particular file from starting.A google search on the file name will also show what each file does and if it actually is needed. peter -- DISCLAIMER: If you find a posting or message from me offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive, please ignore it.
