I'm wearing my fingers and my mouse out here with all this clicking.

I would like the "Folders" view (left side of screen window) to be to show
when I click on Start Menu items like My Documents, My Pictures, etc.

Is there a known way to force these, or any other for that matter, windows
to open such?

Thank you

Jim

Hi Jim,

Go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types/Folder. Highlight
it, select Advanced and set Explore as Default.

Or if you're comfortable editing the registry, go to:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell] and set the value data to "explore".
