Where have they come from and how do I get rid of them as they can make it
hard to see what I am actually supposed to be looking at! I only recently
noticed them so is it in an update or something?
This can be seen in the jpeg I created from PrtScn, here:
http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c253/richka/RichPics/ExplorerWatermr...1205.jp
These intrusive pictures are very annoying and give me further cause to seek
a friendlier, more open operating system.
They are also a gateway for unwanted advertising and not what I paid for
when I bought my copy of XP, very disappointing!
There are many reasons to stick with Windows XP but this is definitely yet
another detraction from the benefits.
Is there any way to get rid of them please?
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. lol

Cheers Ramesh,
I was previously advised:
The watermark is displayed accordnig to Folder template. You can change
folder
type by :
RIght click Folder > Properties > Customize tab > "Use this folder type as
template :" .....

Note: You cannot change folder type of shell folders like "My Music", "My
videos"
etc.
