| I have Vista Home Premium on an Acer Extensa 4620Z laptop. Does any one know
of a process or program that would not let the usb drivers for a Logitech
V320 mouse to be installed? I have tried to install setpoint 4.24 usb drivers
several times with no success.

John,
Try the newer 4.40's instead.
If you are running Vista x64 this is the download link.

My system is 32 bit. The 4.40 was not compatible with my system. The version I
need is 4.24 which will not install the USB drivers. I have been checking for
updates but with no success. Thanks for your effort.

John,
Have you tried right-clicking on the installation executable and chosen "Run
as Administrator"?
That was my last bullet.

Vista indeed has a black list of drivers known as incompatible.
Please contact Logitech.

I tried to install setpoint 4.24 as a administrator and the drivers were not
installed.I wonder where I could get a list of incompatible Logitech drivers.
I don;t think Logitech would admit they have bad drivers

I have uninstalled Setpoint several times and read the link that you posted.
I have sent another E-Mail to Logitech and asked about a driver update. I
will let you know what happens. Thanks.
