Hi all

I just hooked a dell optiplex up to a 21" monitor and it has installed as a
kind of virtual desktop display.
I think that's what it's called when the image is effectively bigger than
the physical screen size and you have to pan around the edges of the display
to "see" all the desktop or application window.
The question is, how do I turn this off so the diplayed image matches the
physical screen dimensions.
Never had this before accidentally, so don't know where to find the off
switch.

TIA

Phil

Check your video adapter/chip properties for a setting to change form either
"Aspect" or "Full Screen" ratio.
Right click your desktop.
Click "Properties" in the popup menu.
Click "Settings" tab > "Advanced" button > Video adapter/driver tab.
